Crochet amigurumi Muzi of Kakao friends pattern




 

MATERIALS:

2.5 mm Tulip crochet hook

8 mm cartoon or Black safety eyes

fiberfill

fabric glue

6 mm puncher

hard felt in Black and Pink

Black thread

tapestry needle

scissor


YARNS:

Milk cotton light yarn in

Sunshine (for the legs, arms, and head)

White yarn (for the body, ears, and hat)


ABBREVIATIONS:

RND - round

RNDS - rounds

sc - single crochet

st - stitch

sts - stitches

sl st - slip stitch

inc - increase

dec – decrease

BLO - back loop only


LEGS (make 2)


RND 1: 6 sc in magic ring

Put an st marker in the first st and work in a continuous spiral

RND 2 - 5: sc all around = 4 rounds of 6 sc

Sl st in the first st and cut off the yarn leaving a long yarn tail.

Put a small amount of fiberfill in the legs


ARMS (make 2)


RND 1: 6 sc in magic ring

Put an st marker in the first st and work in a continuous spiral

RND 2 - 5: sc all around = 4 rounds of 6 sc


Put a small amount of fiberfill in the arms.

Flatten the edges, 3 sc through sts of both layers (closing the hole).

Fasten off and cut off the yarn, leaving a small tail.


HEAD


RND 1: 6 sc in magic ring

Sl st in the first st, and ch1 (do these in each RND of the head)

RND 2: inc (6x) = 12 sc

RND 3: 1 sc, 1 inc (6x) = 18 sc

RND 4: 1 sc, 1 inc, 2 sc (6x) = 24 sc

Start the RND 4 with 1 sc & 1 inc then continue to 2 sc & 1 inc around

(end the RND 4 with 1 sc)

RND 5: 3 sc, 1 inc (6x) = 30 sc

RND 6: 2 sc, 1 inc, 4 sc (6x) = 36 sc

Start the RND 6 with 2 sc & 1 inc then continue to 4 sc & 1 inc around

(end the RND 6 with 2 sc)

RND 7: 5 sc, 1 inc (6x) = 42 sc

RND 8 - 11: sc all around = 4 rounds of 42 sc

Put the st markers to RND 11 in 18 and 25 sts (6 sts apart).

RND 12 - 14: sc all around = 3 rounds of 42 sc

RND 15: 5 sc, 1 dec (6x) = 36 sc

RND 16: 2 sc, 1 dec, 4 sc (6x) = 30 sc

Start the RND 16 with 2 sc & 1 dec then continue to 4 sc & 1 dec around

(end the RND 16 with 2 sc) Place the safety eyes where you placed the st markers

RND 17: 3 sc, 1 dec (6x) = 24 sc

RND 18: 1 sc, 1 dec, 2 sc (6x) = 18 sc

Start the RND 18 with 1 sc & 1 dec then continue to 2 sc & 1 dec around

(end the RND 18 with 1 sc)

RND 19: 1 sc, 1 dec (6x) = 12 sc

Stuff the head with fiberfill, firmly and evenly.

RND 20: dec (6x) = 6 sc


Sl st in the 1st st and cut off the yarn leaving a long yarn tail. Weave in the front loops of the rest 6 sts, then pull to close the hole. Hide the yarn tail and cut off the excess yarn.


HAT


RND 1: 6 sc in magic ring

Sl st in the first st, and ch1 (do these in each RND of the hat)

RND 2: inc (6x) = 12 sc

RND 3: 1 sc, 1 inc (6x) = 18 sc

RND 4: 1 sc, 1 inc, 2 sc (6x) = 24 sc

Start the RND 4 with 1 sc & 1 inc then continue to 2 sc & 1 inc around

(end the RND 4 with 1 sc)

RND 5: 3 sc, 1 inc (6x) = 30 sc

RND 6: 2 sc, 1 inc, 4 sc (6x) = 36 sc

Start the RND 6 with 2 sc & 1 inc then continue to 4 sc & 1 inc around

(end the RND 6 with 2 sc)

RND 7: 5 sc, 1 inc (6x) = 42 sc

RND 8 - 16: sc all around = 9 rounds of 42 sc

RND 17: 5 sc, 1 dec (6x) = 36 sc


Sl st in the 1st st and cut off the yarn leaving a long yarn tail. Weave the yarn end inside of the hat and cut off the excess yarn.


EARS (make 2)


RND 1: 7 sc in magic ring

Sl st in the first st, and ch1 (do these in each RND of the ears)

RND 2 - 7: sc all around = 6 rounds of 7 sc

Sl st in the 1st st and cut off the yarn leaving a long yarn tail. Put a small of fiberfill inside

of the ears.


BODY


RND 1: 6 sc in magic ring

Sl st in the first st, and ch1 (do these in each RND of the body)

RND 2: inc (6x) = 12 sc

RND 3: 1 sc, 1 inc (6x) = 18 sc

RND 4: 1 sc, 1 inc, 2 sc (6x) = 24 sc

Start the RND 4 with 1 sc & 1 inc then continue to 2 sc & 1 inc around

(end the RND 4 with 1 sc)

RND 5 - 9: sc all around = 5 rounds of 24 sc

RND 10: 4 sc, join the arms to the body 3 sc through sts of both layers, 9 sc,

join the other arms to the body 3 sc through sts of both layers, 5 sc = 24 sc

Sl st in the 1st st and cut off the yarn leaving a long yarn tail. Stuff the body with fiberfill.
