Crochet Plush sleeping bunny amigurumi

MATERIALS:

5 mm and 3.5 mm crochet hook

6 mm safety eyes

Fiberfill

st marker, pins

Tapestry needle and scissor


YARNS:


Chunky chenille yarn in Baby Pink

Acrylic worsted yarn in Off White

Milk cotton light yarn in Black for embroidering


ABBREVIATIONS:


RND - round

RNDS - rounds

ch - chain

chs - chains

sc - single crochet

st - stitch

sts - stitches

sl st - slip stitch

inc - increase

dec – decrease

TR - treble crochet

hdc - half double crochet



ARMS (make 2)

RND 1: Make a magic ring, ch 1, 6 sc inside

Sl st in the 1st st, don't add 1 ch and put an st marker in the first st

(do these in each RND of the ears)

RND 2: 1 sc, 1 inc (3x) = 9 sc

RND 3: 2 sc, 1 inc (3x) = 12 sc

RND 4: 3 sc, 1 inc (3x) = 15 sc

RND 5 – 9: sc all around = 5 RNDSof 15 sc

RND 10: 3 sc, 1 dec (3x) = 12 sc

Fasten off and cut off the yarn leaving a long yarn tail to sew the ears on the head



BODY & HEAD

make a slip knot and ch 18

note: make the slip knot loose and consider it as one chain


RND 1: 1 sc in the second ch from the hook, 1 sc in each 18 chs, 2 sc in the last ch,

working on the other side of chs; 1 sc in each of the other side of 18 chs, add 1 sc in the second ch = 40 sc

RND 2 – 6: sc all around = 5 RNDSof 40 sc

Sl st in the 1st st, don't add 1 ch and put an st marker in the first st

(do these in each RND of the body)

RND 7: 8 sc, 1 dec (4x) = 36 sc

RND 8 & 9: sc all around = 2 RNDS of 36 sc

RND 10: 7 sc, 1 dec (4x) = 32 sc

RND 11: sc all around = 1 RND of 32 sc

RND 12: 6 sc, 1 dec (4x) = 28 sc

RND 13: sc all around = 1 RND of 28 sc

RND 14: 5 sc, 1 dec (4x) = 24 sc

stuff the body firmly as you go

RND 15: sc all around = 1 RND of 24 sc

Continue working on the head

RND 16: 3 sc, 1 inc (6x) = 30 sc

RND 17: 2 sc, 1 inc, 4 sc (6x) = 36 sc

Start the RND 17 with 2 sc & 1 inc then continue to 4 sc & 1 inc around

(end the RND with 2 sc)

RND 18 – 22: sc all around = 5 RNDSof 36 sc

RND 23: 2 sc, 1 dec, 4 sc (6x) = 30 sc

Start the RND 23 with 2 sc & 1 dec then continue to 4 sc & 1 dec around

(end the RND with 2 sc)

RND 24: 3 sc, 1 dec (6x) = 24 sc

RND 25: 1 sc, 1 dec, 2 sc (6x) = 18 sc

Start the RND 25 with 1 sc & 1 dec then continue to 2 sc & 1 dec around

(end the RND with 1 sc)

Stuff the head as you go

RND 26: dec (6x) = 9 sc

Sl st in the first st and cut off the yarn leaving a long yarn tail. Weave in the front loops of the rest 9 sts, then pull to close the hole, hide the yarn tail.



SCARF

make a slip knot and ch 71


1 sc in the second ch from the hook, 1 hdc, 1 dc in each 2 sts, 1 TR in every 2 sts, 1 hdc, 1 sc in each of the next 51 chs, 1 hdc, 1 dc in every 2 sts, 1 TR in every 2 sts, 1 hdc,

(in the last ch: 1 sc, ch 1, 1 sc)


working across the other sides of the chs; 1 dc in every 2 sts, 1 TR in every 2 sts, 1 hdc, 1 sc in each of the next 51 chs, 1 hdc, 1 dc in every 2 sts, 1 TR in every 2 sts, 1 hdc, add 1 sc in the second ch
